Yesterday Lainy and I got together with Julie and her daughter, Rain, and Tonja and her son, Alex, for a mommy and baby lunch. We had a great time and a great lunch, thanks to Tonja. We have been through a lot together and are now sharing the adventure of motherhood!

Agreeable
Lainy may not be able to "speak" yet but she is getting the head nodding thing down and seems to be very agreeable especially first thing in the morning when she is in a good mood.

Another Fun Weekend with Family and Friends
Eric was off on Friday, so we got to spend some extra time together and had a fun dinner at the big PBurg Pizza Hut! We did some outdoor stuff on the garden, the yard and flowerbeds on Saturday, in between the rain and trying to keep Lainy asleep (still hates to take a nap - doesn't want to miss a thing, however I did catch her sleeping in her crib, see below.) Sunday we ate lunch with my family and then had a nice dinner to celebrate Rikki and Doug's Anniversary at Susan and Jon's house!

I'm Good
Well, Lainy and I had a battle of the wills on Monday with napping. I wanted her to and she didn't want to....However, she did sleep 10 hours Monday night and last night. She hates sleeping in her crib at night but has been taking naps there when I can get her to nap. Even though she was being a stinker Monday she insisted that she is "good." See below......

Fun Weekend
The weekend started out on Friday with a party with Eric's coworkers where Lainy slept most of the time but did get to enjoy some of the sunshine. We then had a fun dinner night at Susan and Jon's house. Saturday morning Eric killed a turkey and Lainy had her first pictures dressed in camo. We all then went to the Spring Game. Lainy and I spent most of the time in the car as the weather did not cooperate. We then went to Awful Arthur's the rest of the evening with Brooke, Wendy, Aaron, Meredith, Sarah and Ian and had a ball. Lainy was passed around and loved on by her "aunts and uncles." Check out how much fun she had....
