Hanging with the Big Dogs

We had a great weekend! First on Saturday, we went to Tonja's house and hung out with Julie, Rain, Tonja, Alex and Kelly. We talked and played with the little ones. Time flew and before we knew it we had been yapping for five hours. While we were at Tonja's house, Eric was getting ready for hunting season. Then we all went to Alma and Dave's to watch the game. Lainy hung in there with the big dogs by taking a short 20 minute nap then staying up until midnight to watch the game. She was yelling, jumping and cheering in her VT cheerleader uniform. Sunday, Lainy slept in until about 9:30 and then slept on and off the rest of the day or wanted to hang out in her swing. She did watch some of the outdoor network with dad and squeaked at the animals on the television! All in all another great weekend.

So far this holds true...

Baby Aquarius (The Water Bearer)
Jan. 20-Feb. 18
Aquarian babies are natural rebels who like to do things their own way. Get lots of toys to keep your child from becoming restless during tummy time, and lock those cabinets early. Give her the chance to crawl freely on grassy lawns and toddle around the playground. Embrace her discoveries by letting her collect the rocks and other little treasures she finds. Support her individuality by allowing her to decide which outfit she wants to wear or which stuffed animal she wants to sleep with. And introduce new toys, books, and games regularly: Kids born under this sign are bright and often develop ahead of schedule.

New Things

Lainy has been eating cheerios and puffs for a couple weeks but they are actually starting to get to her mouth now. She is really getting good at picking them up! She also has a new jumping toy, thanks to Aunt Tonja. She thinks she is something jumping around and listening to the music!

Our Weekend

First on Saturday morning, Lainy and I watched ESPN Game Day together. Mom then watched Lainy so Eric and I could go to the game. We had hoped to be back early but that didn't happen with the close game. On Sunday, Lainy enjoyed spending time with her Daddy before he has to leave again for another week. She struck a pose for me while they were playing around.

7 months old!

Lainy is 7 months old today! I can't or don't want to believe it. Here she is from her photo shoot this morning!

Lainy has many favorite things but two of them are watching tv on our bed while hogging the remote and hanging out with her friends. She gets them both honest!
