First Haircut

Lainy got her first trim today. Mamaw Vest stopped by and trimmed a little off the ends. She did okay, took a quick bath to get the hair off and is now taking a nap. You can see her eye is doing better and not as much swelling. We go back on Wednesday to have the stitches out!

She's Okay!

Thanks for the calls and checking in everyone! Lainy is doing okay. She had a little fall yesterday tripping over her babydoll and hitting face first into a floor vent cover. So two hours at the ER and two stitches later, she is doing better. Mom and Dad are still recovering but she was always her wild self. I'm sure this is the first of many with her - she is a go go kind of girl!

Lainy learned a new trick this evening in the bathtub and can't get enough of showing it off.

18 Month WCC

Lainy had her 18 month check up today: 21 1/2 lbs. (still a petite one); 32 inches (she grew 2 inches in three months!) and had two shots today. She did well, with the first one she said, what's that and when she got the shot she looked at the nurse and went, ohh. The next one was the DTaP and hurt more so she cried but only for a little while and then kept telling the nurse bye, trying to get her out of the room! Guess we go back in 6 months!

11 years

Today is mine and Eric's 11 year anniversary! We went to eat at the Swinging Bridge in Paint Bank. We had lots of fun driving up and eating then driving back. It was a great day. Lainy enjoyed it and is now down for the count.
