Lainy got a new swing for Valentine's Day and today was the first day she got to try it out. She loves it and cried when I took her in.

First Birthday

Well, it's finally here, the Big 01. We had a party for Lainy on Saturday with some friends and family. She had a big time opening presents, eating cake and seeing everyone. She loved diving into the cake and almost fell asleep eating it. She had another little party with her friends at Kim's house on Monday. Today I took the day off and spent her birthday with her. We got up and took pictures to remember the day this morning then headed off to Christiansburg for a birthday lunch and some shopping. She ended her big day with yes - more cake! It's hard to believe it has been a year already since we were blessed with her but we have enjoyed every minute and can't wait to see what is to come.

The Lone Tooth

Still only the one tooth and we finally got pictures of it. Thanks to Eric for making funny faces to get a big smile! The others are so close but nothing yet. Maybe she'll get one or two for her birthday! Which I can't believe is little over a week away.

Watch Me

Lainy started pushing her push/pull toys soon after she got them at Christmas but she has started trying to sprint with them. She will stand alone until she realizes that she isn't holding anything and then quickly lets go! Still only one tooth and haven't gotten a picture yet - I have tried. Her mouth feels like little bebes everywhere under the skin, so i think more will be here soon. We hope so, because some nights are harder than others for getting sleep these days!

Lainy is less interested in playing in her jumper while we cook, so she is now helping!
