Wet and Wild

Lainy had a jam packed day with gymnastics, shopping and then visiting granny and grandpa Vest. She started out just watering the plants then chaos erupted and we all were soaked including granny and grandpa.

27 months & having fun

Here are some recent pictures of Lainy. She enjoys picking out her own clothes now, as you can see by the great outfit of a bathing suit, boots and hat/earmuffs that she wore around the house last weekend. She has also enjoyed spending time with her friends, that is her and Hudson in his wagon. She has taken a liking to her VT cheerleading outfit (yes!) and asks to wear her "go hokies dress." She is doing well and changing everyday.

Zoo

So last weekend we went to Richmond to visit while Eric took his licensing test. We went to the zoo on Friday and then did a little shopping on Saturday. We had a great time!

Big Girl Bed

So at her naptime today, Lainy came to the top of the stairs and yelled, "Mom, Lainy at stairs & out of bed." She had climbed out for the first time. I put her back and peeked to see how she did it and then caught her on camera. So we took down the crib rail and she was excited. I thought it would be a battle to get her to sleep but she went right to bed and wanted me to rub her back and was out at 7:45, however, the night is not over. I also remember the first night in the crib going well then the following was a different story. More to come!
